 Critzer Lake at Sunset The PWWSD #13 was created to provide an adequate supply of safe drinking water to Linn County and its neighboring counties including Anderson, Bourbon and Miami County, Kansas and Bates County, Missouri. As most of the small cities and towns can no longer afford to maintian and upgrade their exhisting treatment plants it has become more necessary for Public Wholesale districts to form and consolidate the resources of several entities in order to continue to meet stringent and ever changing US EPA and KDHE guidlines regarding the safety of the public water supply. Please take some time to become familiar with our site and visit us as often as you like as we will update the site often with information that will explain the current events and future plans of the District. |
